The Pitch will be closed (if the weather permits) for essential maintenance from 1st – 10th May. We need a week of more or less ideal weather. This is a task that we have been continuing for the past and has proved it’s worth. We would ask, please, for your total co-operation in trying to keep even walking off the pitch and arrange training schedules well away from the treated areas. Much will depend on the weather and we will try to keep you up-to-date with all developments. The signs will go up when the task begins. Again, please bear with us. Even if you see children ‘playing’ on the area after pitch treatment – they are doing harm to the treatment and may suffer from the effects of the fertilizer if they happen to fall and get any type of ‘cut’.
Love from Frank and Greg.
p.s. The catering for after training will cease after next Thursday. We just hope that this service has been beneficial and you can show your appreciation by purchasing our latest set of raffle tickets for the Premium Seats in Croker - two of which will be issued to each player in the coming week. If by any chance you need any more please let us know.
