So where can you find our club?

On the old site, we use to get lots of people asking questions about where we are and how is the best way to find us. As such, I provided a Map page which gave these details. So for those of you who are doing exams in the hall or want to know where we are for whatever reason, here you go.

There are two main ways to approach the clubhouse. They are from the city centre and from the north. Coming from either side, you would travel along Finglas Road, until you reach The Footbridge from the north or Janelle Shopping Centre (now ClearWater) from the city centre.

Coming From The City Centre:

Once you are on the Finglas Road (travelling past Glasnevin Cemetery on your right) from the City Centre, the Clubhouse is very to find. As with most places there are a number of ways to get to the clubhouse, but one that is very hard to get lost on. All that y need to do is come down the Dual Carriage way till you pass Janelle Shopping Centre, and take the next LEFT onto Wellmount Road. Once you are on this road, you immediately "hack" a LEFT again, down Farnham Drive. We are located half way down this road.

Coming from Ashbourne or the M50 (at Finglas turn):

Taking the turn off the M50 at Finglas or coming straight down the Ashbourne Road, you would come through the roundabout and he for Finglas Village. However, instead of turning off the Dual Carriage way to head into the village itself, you carry on down the Dua Carriage way until you come to the old Footbridge. The next turn to your RIGHT is onto Wellmount Road, and the following LEFT is onto Drive. For those of you who really know your M50, the Finglas exit is Exit No. 5. (According to the well educated Chris (Issy) Reilly

Coming on a bus and don't know which to take?:

Surprisingly enough, with the aid of the above directions, you should pretty much be able to find your way to the club if you ge Village itself. As such, all that is left for us to do to help you on your way so to speak is point you in the direction of Dublin Buses website where you should seek information on any of the number 40 bus routes, or a the 83, which was historically the 134 route.

Any other way to get there?:

Something I came across not so long ago on the AA(Automobile Association of Ireland) website was a very handy tool called "Route Planner". This will allow you to pick any 2 street names an option of adding an area you wish to pass through, and gives you the best route. Pretty self explanatory, so why not check it out clicking the "Route Planner" link just above.
